Step 1 – REGISTER YOUR TEAM
Registration is online at www.polarcup.ca clicking on the “Registration” button. A team official will need to enter the email address and the registration link will be sent out from the Polar Cup website to the Team official email address.
By clicking the registration link (received from the polar cup website) the T.O. will log into the Polar cup account, T.O. will need to enter all team information, including contact information for all coaching staff.
Be sure to fully complete the registration process, you will be sent an email confirmation that you have registered for the Polar Cup Tournament. Registrations are considered complete only after payment has been received (If you do not receive a confirmation email, then you may not have completed all steps of the registration. The EMSA Main is not responsible for teams that do not properly register their teams through the online system).
Step 2 – PAYMENT
All registration Payment must be received in order for your team to be registered for the tournament prior to December 5th,2021. There will be not refund after December 5th, 2021.
All the payment options are listed below:
PAY ONLINE: You will be prompted to pay online during the registration process (login to your account on the Polar cup website www.polarcup.ca).
CHEQUE: You can drop off the cheque to our office – located at 6520 Roper Rd NW Edmonton, AB T6B 3K8- there is a EMSA MAIN mail box at the back entrance of the Edmonton Soccer Facility, cheque can be made out to Edmonton Minor Soccer Association. Please list the name of your team, age group, gender and the name of the tournament on it.
CASH: If you wish to pay by cash our Office (6520 Roper Rd NW Edmonton, AB T6B 3K8) hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30– 4:30 (please ring the bell because the EMSA MAIN office still closed to the public)
E-TRANSFER: if you wish to pay by e-transfer the email address is [email protected] please list on it the name of your team, age group, gender and the name of the tournament.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the Early Bird price is a discount of $50 of the regular price if the payment is done no later than November 12, 2021. After this date the price of the tournament will be full price.
Step 3 – ACTIVE PLAYERS
On your Team’s Member Area, clicking the button “YOUR TEAMS” and then clicking the “ROSTER” button you will add all players (full name and jersey numbers) to the Tournament Roster, this is the list of players that will be playing with your team for the tournament. Be sure to indicate if the player is a guest player. Once the schedules are posted you will be able to print your game sheets. All players must be listed on the tournament roster by December 17, 2021.
IMPORTANT NOTE: in order to enter/ update/ edit/ change the information of team officials, players, team the Team Official must log in with the same email address entered at the begging of the registration.
Step 4 – UPLOAD ROSTER (Official District/Provincial Roster)
EMSA teams currently competing in the EMSA League are not required to submit an ASA roster as these rosters are already stored on EMSA’s League Management System.
All teams outside of EMSA League will need to upload your Official District/Provincial Roster (pdf or jpeg) on Polar Cup website under Team’s Member Area prior to December 17, 2021 This is the roster that shows players birthdate and player registration number. All players must be registered to a team for the Current Indoor Soccer Season to be eligible to participate in the tournament, and must be listed on an Official District/Provincial roster.
No changes to the Official Team Roster can be made after December 17, 2021 for all teams registered for the Polar Cup.
